Golden Arches Roll Top Backpack - Knitorious Fabric Promotion

The Foodie round at Knitorious Fabric is in full swing, and this time I got a fun canvas MD Sack bagmaker set to promote! The Bagmaker sets are a fat half yard of fabric, with accents and other fun pieces included in the designs and some even have circle or other shapes designed in for easy placement! Depending on the bag, one roll might not be enough for the lining, so I combined mine with the burger silky nylon coordinate.

That's a mini happy meal box, not a giant backpack!
Brown straps was a choice...because I ran out of the red!
Don't look too closely at the stitching, it was late and I was rushing...
The pattern I used was a free rolltop mini backpack from a blog, with a video showing how she made it. I feel like it could have had a little more instruction, but the final bag turned out pretty cute! If I ever make it again, I will make the flap part longer so it can get a true 'roll' and maybe go for a little different closure.

A peek at the burger lining
Since I was rushing to get this done, I didn't add in any extra pockets or features, so this is a pretty simple bag with just one slip pocket inside. It's too deep to get a good pic, but trust me, it's there!
Peering into the abyss. It's a deep but thin bag.

I did have a little extra bit of the bagmaking roll left over, and it was 2 fun images, so I made a quick zipper pouch. Somehow I have no burger or fries zipper pulls (but I do have a taco?) so I just went for a plain teardrop pull.

What ever happened to the Hamburglar? Did he do time?

Need some fries to go with that shake?
How about a burger lining?
This was a minimal hardware bag, I used a plastic buckle snap piece from the stash, some buckle d rings from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts, and sliding adjusters.
Gunmetal!

Be sure to check out the Foodie round before it drives away! There are a bunch of awesome designs and might even be appreciated by a hungry teenager!

I tried to get a teenager to go with me to take location pics, but she was too embarrassed.
