Kitty Cat Emma Purses (ChrisW Designs)

After making the epic cat-tastic Sydney for a customer, she contacted me to ask for smaller purses for her girls since they loved hers so much!
Not quite matching purses for two little girls!

WIP Wednesday - Onward and Upward!

Can't stop now, I'm the closest to caught up I've been in YEARS!
For a fabric I wasn't totally in love with when I picked it out, this one has been getting a lot of attention!

Hello Kitty Polaris (Sew Sweetness)

It has been a long time since I first made the Pirate Bunny Polaris for the Bag of the Month Club, so I kind of forgot about this pattern!
It's cool how the different straps almost make the fabric look different!

As You Wish - Pegasus Cross Body Bag Testing

When the chance to test another pattern for XOXO by Lauren came up, I was super excited and did my best to squeeze it into my busy schedule (ok, I might have jumped it ahead of a few, but it's fast so that's not a huge deal...)
Mine, all mine.

WIP Wednesday - Naps Sound Amazing

For some reason, the later I stay up, the more tired I get.  It's like sleep is required or something.  I wish I was one of the people that can take a 10-15 minute nap and wake up refreshed, but if I ever do nap, it's at least 3 hours and I'm groggy for several hours after that...
Dread Pirate Roberts will be on my next purse!  He's MINE!

Mickey Get Carded Wallet (Dog Under My Desk)

It's been forever since I made a Get Carded wallet, and it's just as fast as I remember! This was the second half of a recent order, the 'simpler' wallet for a younger child.  The fabric is the same print as the Brandt's Boulevard, but a different color for the background.  It doesn't have a long cash pocket, but it does have a zipper pocket, ID slot, and inside card slots, with one of them being deeper so it could hold folded money.
Rainbow zippers make everything better

WIP Wednesday - Deadlines Galore

You don't realize how much you depend on the internet until it's gone...which happened over the weekend and I was LOST!  I need to print patterns that weren't on my laptop...and my ipad doesn't print to the wireless printer (or at least I haven't figured out how to do it since it's a super old one...).  It was a helpless feeling...so I ended up making pillow cases for my kids and searching my stash for printed patterns I could use! There was also some house cleaning done...which is pretty rare around here. ;)
Pillowcases, left is custom fabric, right is licensed fabric...I'd love to sell but doubt people would pay $20 for a single pillowcase!

How I Roll - Emma Purse - Moonbeam Fabric Preorder!

The second project I decided to make with the Moon Beam strike offs was also a tester for a later order.  I needed to see if I could make the Emma (From ChrisW Designs) big enough to fit a tablet and large set of headphones, but I didn't want to risk the harder to replace fabric...so instead I went with impossible to replace fabric (it makes sense to me...just go with it).  For the strike offs, I received 2 identical panels in different sizes and a yard of the dice fabric, so my second project had to be a smaller one!
Black fabric really hides the details of the flap...

WIP Wednesday - Back On Track

Or maybe I'm just getting closer to the track...But at least I'm moving forward!  I did get a few projects finished over the last week, but then I managed to get my gas permeable contact stuck to my eye and it REALLY hurt, so that threw me off for a few days.  I can see again, so no more excuses!  (I'll spare you the picture my husband decided to take and share with Facebook...it wasn't pretty)
This fabric is all kinds of awesome

How I Roll - Fresno Foldover - New Moonbeam Fabric Preorder!

I'm more of a video/computer gamer than a RP or table top gamer, but this fabric was still fun to sew up!  The Gamer round is open from April 1-20th for preorder, so make sure to grab some of your favorites Here! (affiliated link) This time I received a yard of the coordinating dice fabric and 2 of the same panels, just in different sizes.  The graphics on the adult sized panel were slightly larger, but there was also a LOT of extra fabric to work with.  I was able to cut the entire front AND the strap out of the bigger panel!
How do you roll?
