This fun Summit Sling was made with a customer provided fabric, with their school's mascot! I'm not sure where they had it printed, but the quality was good and the fabric was a canvas that gave it a little more structure.

This sling bag has a great shape! | | Back view |

The Summit Sling from Cloudsplitter designs is one of the bags that I make that looks SUPER complicated, but as long as you keep everything labeled and really pay attention to the pieces, it comes together nicely! There are a lot of pieces to cut, so labeling is VERY important.
 |
| The pockets open pretty wide! |
 |
| Back is one piece, nice to have a big piece to cut! |
The good thing about this bag is all the pockets! For this one I did the optional card slots in the very front pocket, which I normally skip. There are 3 card slots, plus a bigger pocket area behind them, and the entire front zips shut.

| Card slots for organization/easy access |
The main compartment has another slip pocket and a zipper pocket. I used a bit of blue grunge (batik?) fabric for accent and lining pieces, to make their fabric stretch further, something I either found at Joann's or in my stash.
 |
| That zipper pocket is extra secure with the zipper so far into the bag! |
There's also another zipper pocket on the back of the bag, that will be secure against your back as you wear it! The zippers on this bag are pretty simple, just the circle pulls, but not every bag can have custom designed hardware!
 |
| The strap is nice and wide, no digging in like a thin strap does! |
 |
| I only kind of planned to make them line up like this |
 |
| Circle pulls are easy to grab or add fun things to, like stuffies or ribbons! |
This is one bag that I only make by commission, since it's not a fast and simple one! I have done it for a fabric promotion, and that one was snatched up right away! Maybe I should make some ready to sell ones...In my free time. ;)

| One last look at the cool shape! |
