Revenge of the 5th - Star Wars Patches Overnight Duffle Bag (Knitorious Fabric)

This year I had to dig into the backlog of posts to find a good May the Fourth (be with you) post, and somehow I STILL missed getting it up in time! This was a project I did a few years ago and it turned out pretty fun! The pattern is a free one I found at Sew4Home, and I modified it a little to be a turned bag and left off the piping.

The light grey background has stars in it!

The outer fabric is from Knitorious fabric, a fun Star Wars badge/patch design, which is perfect for a travel bag! I bought it a few years ago, but sometimes she re-runs the good stuff, and May is the best time to get Star Wars inspired fabrics!

Before I had a larger light box and it barely fit in!
This is a nice and roomy bag, perfect for an overnight trip, or maybe even a diaper bag!

Look at all that room!
There are a bunch of outside pockets, but I added in some extra zipper pockets inside since there can never be enough pockets! The lining fabric was some fun licensed stuff I found at Joann's (RIP).
A pocket of Porgs!

A little hard to see, but that is a Porg zipper pull. Because I could.
I'm not even sure where I found the zipper pulls anymore, but they are pretty awesome!

Wookies!

Ewok!
Other than the zipper pulls, the hardware on this bag is pretty minimal, just some of my favorite buckle D rings from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts, plus the matching connectors.
The strap is detachable, in case you just want the handles

I was trying to get a few glamour shots with my baby Ewok, but it would have been better with a bigger light box!

Baby Ewok for scale?
