Clear Character Aneira Pouch - The Styled Magnolia Pattern Testing

I've really enjoyed having a little extra space in my schedule where I can fit in more pattern testing and fabric promotion, especially if it's pushing me out of my comfort zone to use some of my stash! I love how the clear vinyl looks, but for the longest time there were barely any good patterns to use it. The Styled Magnolia is really knocking it out of the park with all their new patterns lately, and the Aneira Pouch is another cute and fast one that can be made with either clear vinyl or regular vinyl! 

I should have put something inside, to make the characters really pop...

This pattern works best with either a non- or omni- directional print, since you cut a main piece and it gets folded up to make the main body. There aren't that many pieces, so it sews up pretty fast! The double zippers means that it opens super wide. I used some pretty Day Dream zipper tape and mouse zipper pulls from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts. I have a rather extensive zipper and pull collection, plus a stockpile of clear vinyl and jelly vinyl that would be super cute for making a bunch of these! And obviously, a bag this bright and colorful needed rainbow Unicorn Mane Sewing String!

The vinyl is from Backstitch, one that I got in a mystery box, so I'm not sure what it is exactly, but it is one of the softer clear ones and turned nicely! I was even able to fussy cut a cute pull tab. The binding is some I had in my stash from when I was making masks with tie closures...I bought it by the spool in a few colors and still have SO MUCH left!
