Lately I feel like I'm spending more time auditioning fabrics, vinyl and linings than actually sewing! I love setting up custom orders, but digging through my stash takes some time...
|
I already have one purse ordered in this, with enough for more! |
The new FB group is great for displaying my custom fabrics, but
once we have the focus fabric picked, it's time to find the perfect coordinating
fabric and vinyl! I'm super happy that orders are picking up again, but now I need to speed up my cutting and sewing so I can spend more time playing with the fabric combos! The next Moonbeam Strike offs are on their way for a few quick projects, purses orders are coming in, craft fair season is approaching, and weather is starting to get cooler so I really want to sneak in some clothes for me and/or the kids... I wish I could do at least one purse a day from start to finish, but most purses take me longer than an hour or 2.
|
one of the rejected options, but I think it will eventually become a Boon Wallet or something else super fun! |
When the weather changes, I also start craving yarn therapy because I want to make cozy hats and cowls, blankets (that I rarely finish), and cute amigurimi!
|
Note to self, Caron Simply Soft yarn is NOT worsted weight...this is now some odd between kid and adult size...rats! |
