I love the combination of fun and fancy, so this toile is perfect! The Star Wars Toile from Knitorious is one of my favorite inspired fabrics.

This scale was great for smaller projects!

WIP Thursday - February is Flying!

I'm not sure how it happened, but not only is the week flying by, but we are almost to another month! I definitely am not ready for March! My attempt at production sewing kind of worked, at least all 4 of the bags are finished finally!

WIP Thursday - Production Line

Usually my orders are for a single purse, or a set of purse and wallet, and rarely do I do more than one of anything in a row, but this order has a BUNCH of the same styles in different fabrics, so I'm testing out how I can mass produce (I'm calling 4 a 'mass') something like the H2O to Go bags. So far my prognosis is that I need a lot more practice before I start cranking these out...but I do want to make a few extra to offer for sale at some point this year. Good news is that they are pretty fast to make even not in a production line, so there's still a chance I will get to them.  Maybe.

It looks like a jumble, but everything is actually clipped together, was just picking hardware and straps!

Demon Slayer Yarrow Clutch (Noodlehead) Longshore Custom Fabrics

WIP Wednesday - Fun Stuff!

It seems like it has been a while since I had strike fabric to sew up AND a new pattern to test, but I ended up with both over the weekend, so orders were set aside to bust them out! One of the reasons I'm slowing down the number of open orders I have is so that I can do fun projects like these guilt free! 

All I know about this guy is that he is beautiful under the mask, according to my in-house expert.

Demon Slayer Tower Crossbody Bag (Sew Sweetness) Longshore Custom Fabric

When I saw the awesome fabric planned for Longshore Custom Fabric's next round, I was crossing my fingers I'd get a chance to sew it up! I wasn't picked in the original plan but there ended up being some extra so I had to quickly sew it up over the weekend to get it all ready to share everywhere! My youngest (and newest anime fan) likes the fabric and helped me find some quick and cute patterns to use with it.

I keep forgetting their names...but I LOVE the colors on this fabric!

WIP Thursday - Snowy Week

It finally feels like winter with all the snow we've been getting, plus it seems to be snowing all over the country! I don't mind the snow, especially if I have a nice book to read, a cozy blanket, and a cup of something warm to drink! Fortunately I'm (kind of) catching up, so I don't feel as bad if I find myself napping on the couch under a cozy blanket with my furry nap buddy next to me. The dog really loves it when I couch nap, he just knows when I sit on the couch and even if he's sleeping in a kid's bed, he'll come downstairs to join me!
