WIP Thursday - Squeezing in Some Fun Items

I have come to realize that if I try to do mass production of an item, I quickly lose motivation and move slower than if I did it one at a time. I need variety and a challenge, so I will often squeeze in a fun little project when I have nearly identical orders in a row. This week it's bookmarks and a Mav pack!

Vinyl front and felt back bookmarks.

WIP Wallets, Er, Thursday

The Necessary Clutch Wallets are definitely super popular on Etsy right now...I need to get them all prepped and make sure I don't oversell on the popular prints! I'd really like to sneak in a few new fabric options, like plague doctors or something pretty (maybe a Tula Pink or something I have a bolt of the fabric?) but I should probably just work on finishing them quickly.

Some fun patches, ready to ship out!

Jurassic Lilac Mini Messenger Bag (Blue Calla)

Sometimes you find a fabric that is just too adorable! This fun Jurassic Park inspired fabric from Ohana Fabrics is one that I totally fell in love with.

Can't go wrong with dinosaurs!

Quilted Vinyl Mav Pack (Linds Handmade Designs)

Rarely do I ever buy a pattern and start it in the same week, unless it's for an order that I suddenly realize I don't actually own the pattern I need...but this adorable Mav Pack from Linds Handmade Designs caught my eye, and I kept seeing people finishing it in just a few hours.  I bought it and stitched it up in the same weekend!

The vinyl actually has a purple tint

Stabby Cat Sandra Saddle Bag - (Strike fabric from Snow Willow Designs Fabric)

When I got this epic fabric from Snow Willow Designs, I knew that the panel would make a great flap on a bag, but I couldn't decide which one.  After a LOT of deliberation, I happened to run across some interfacing I cut probably 5 years ago and that helped me decide to make it into a Sandra Saddle bag from Swoon (Aff Link). I always leave off the extra front magnet piece, and move the magnet to the back of the flap, but after I had done that, I realized that I could have made the flap piece into a cat paw, how perfect would that have been?? Oh well, maybe next time...

I'm pretty sure if cat's could hold knives, we'd all be in trouble...

WIP Thursday - So This Is March

I realize that February is a short month, but I'm pretty sure I blinked once and it was over! I'm not swamped with orders right now (just pleasantly busy), so I've been trying to work on random fun stuff in between. I would say it is to use up my supplies, but as anyone that has seen my craft studio can attest, there is NO WAY I'll ever use up my supplies...at this point I'd just like to clear a pathway since my tubs of fabric are multiplying again...

These are my new obsession...
