WIP Thursday - Sick Leave

I guess it was time again for a mandatory break!  My body decided that with all the weather changes and the way I've been trying to get stuff done, the only way to slow me down was with a head cold.  I'm starting to feel mostly human again (kinda), so back to it!

When I was chosen for the strike off fabric position, it was to make lanterns with the Addam's family characters.  I have to say, I LOVE how they turned out!!

I think both silver and black look great with the fabric!

Creepy and Kooky Minimalist Wallet - Noodlehead Creations (Fabric-Sky Love Creations)

I had the opportunity to be a strike off seamstress for Sky Love Creation's latest preorder, which has some ADORABLE Addam's family fabric!  The plan was to make 2 lanterns with the fabric (pics coming tomorrow!), but I ended up getting some extra, so I was able to add on a quick wallet.

Doesn't everyone have a skull goblet just laying around? Or is that just my child?

WIP Wednesday - Halfway Through May

A few new things did sneak on the list this week, but they should be quick finishes (and half are already done!)

Dance Your Cares Away India Hobo (Swoon)

I admit it, I'm a HUGE Muppets fan! While I can only do the voice of Super Grover (and Yoda, since they are so similar), I've often stated that when I grow up, I want to be a Muppet.  Then Moon Beam Textiles ran a fun fabric round with Muppets and Fraggles, and my little Muppet heart skipped a beat.

I kept singing the Dance your cares away song while sewing, but I only know some of the words, so it got repetitive LOL

WIP Thursday or Friday (What day IS it??) - Survived!

Now that the event is over, time to knuckle down and finish the list!  I have just over 2 more weeks to get through the next 8 sewing orders, plenty of time!!

Only one is for an order, trying to use up my lantern stash so I have ready to sell items!

I love buying new patterns and pretending that I'll make them...and sometimes I actually do!  The Honesuckle Hobo pattern from Blue Calla was originally released in the Carried Away collection, which somehow I didn't join, but I should have!

It's a very soft purse, so the handles won't stand up without assistance

WIP Thursday - The End is Near!

I mean the end of time to prepare for the event and the end of my list (almost)....

Trying a new way to store/display the finger puppets.  The tea box is just SLIGHTLY too small for the big ones!
