I can't wait to see all the great combos that everyone comes up with, it's always inspiring to see different takes on the same pattern. I've decided that a sushi purse needed to be made, so this is the fabric I'll be using! Don't forget to check in on the Facebook group, there will be random drawings throughout the sew along and prizes at the end chosen from all completed purses. Check in next week to see an announcement of what prizes will be up for grabs!

Before I can get started, I have to finish up one other purse but I should have it done in the next few days so I can jump in on this! Here's some progress pictures of the purse that's holding me up, a Doctor Who Concealed Carry purse of my own design. I can't decide what is more nerve wracking, cutting into Spoonflower fabric ($22 just for one yard with shipping!) or making my own design! It's a simple purse, but that zipper pocket makes up for any 'easy' parts. ;)
