WIP Wednesday - No time to take breaks!

I've had a purse request on the back burner for a friend for a LONG time...and finally she asked last week if it would be done in time for her birthday...which is this month...and I'll have to mail it to her.. so I decided to jump on it and see how hard it would be.  We saw the original purse in the Swoon FaceBook group and were blown away, so of course I put on my crazy pants and told her I'd be able to make it.  (my crazy pants match my crazy hat)
For some reason it matches great at the bottom, but is slightly off at the top.  I'm going to blame cutting it on the bias...

It's the Bonnie Bucket Bag by Swoon, and even using glitter vinyl, surprisingly a fast sew!  I only have the handle and attachment left to do, plus sewing the main pieces together, but if I just would cut the fabric and go for it, I bet I could have it done in an hour or less.  The entire reason I was procrastinating on it was because she wanted me to do a "Two-faced" version, with pattern matching on the amazing Alison Glass Ex Libris panels.  I didn't get it perfect, but I can live with it, and she's still loving it, even with the flaws!  Of course now I need to get it done so I can have my sewing area for the secret pattern I'm testing...

I did sneak in a few crayon rolls before I started Bonnie, so that's 2 I can cross off as done...only 20 million more to go.  (I might be exaggerating a tiny bit...)  I'm trying to make myself do at least 2 crayon rolls once I finish a project, just picking the ones that match whatever thread I have on the machine.  Not surprisingly, I have a crayon roll pre-cut for almost every single color of thread I own.
Just a few of my stack...
These have been waiting for final topstiching since before Christmas!
Better get back to work and stop procrastinating!

WIP: (Stuff sitting out on my work area and taking up space)

Sewing:

Finish Two-faced Bonnie.

Pattern Testing for a secret project - I will say the fabric will probably be nautical in nature.  I'm feeling very ocean-y lately...
I love this Michael Miller fabric and the coordinates!

Forgot about the dress and pillowcase for my niece's birthday...I hope those are fast sews so I can actually get her present to her BEFORE her birthday for once...Someday I'll plan ahead a little better.

Brandt's Boulevard in skulls (x2 - different fabrics, another one in "Girly" fabric - need the first one by June 1 - I had the date wrong, shew.)

Star Wars Tote Purse - fabrics picked out Also moving up because this is needed by June 1! - In the new Darth Vader Sugar Skulls fabric!

March BOM - Pirate BunnyBeard just needs his strap!

Embroidered pillow covers - need to cut a back piece after I figure out if I'm doing a zipper or envelope closure...I'm thinking of using my invisible zippers and doing another one from the same set of patterns...so far the fish is in the lead for what will be stitched next.  I'm procrastinating because I don't want to have to lint roll the entire sewing area after I cut my next piece.  Not even exaggerating.

Crochet:

Sea turtle lovey has his head and legs done, started on the bottom of his shell.

Mermaid lovey - Sea blanket is done, head is done (no hair), started on tail. Giant head is kind of freaking me out, so I need to finish her!

Embroidery:

Start cutting out my backlog of bows and keychains so I'm maybe ahead of the game for the next Etsy orders and craft shows...

Sailor Moon Key Chains will be coming soon!  Need to decide on colors!

NIL (Next in Line-Things I plan on and want to do, but haven't gotten around to yet...)

Boronia Bowler - I really love the shape and wide open top featured on this purse, it would look amazing in just about any of my fabrics!!

May Bag of the Month - I think I'm going with a Doctor Who random toss fabric that glows in the dark.  Because I can.
It is hard to get a true color picture late at night...

UFO (Unfinished Objects that are already started but I have no set time to work on and don't want to forget about them forever!)

Sedimental Quilt- all quilted, just needs squared up and binding - 2 sides are cut, need to do 2 more, when I have my cutting area cleaned off
