I was going through and organizing my upcoming blog posts (I start the title for every project I work on) and I realized I really need to start posting more than 2x a week! I have 17 finished projects in the lineup waiting for me to finish up the posts, edit the pics, and hit publish! I like to keep a few in reserve just in case I have a week (or 3) of tiny projects or sickness...but that's a little excessive. Besides, I'm excited to share them and I have lots more coming up in the future!

Trying out a new wallet pattern and modifying it at the same time. It was designed to have raw edges, and that makes me twitchy! |
So far, limiting my orders hasn't been a bad thing, and it's giving me time to actually get caught up and take a day (or weekend) at my own pace and relax with a book! I get twitchy if I don't read at least one book a month, usually I need to read one a week (or day, depending on how good it is), and when I'm behind I feel guilty taking time to myself to do 'nothing'.

Lining is not interested in anything. |
I'm still trying to organize and clear out the old stuff from my sewing studio at the same time -- I just dropped off 2 bags of 'costume' fabric at the thrift shop today (some my husband bought, so it's not all my fault, and some was over 15 years old!) and now I only have a few thousand more yards to go through! (only kind of kidding). I decided that I need an even better storage system for all my hardware, so I think my next big purchase will be an actual tool chest...harbor freight has them for decent prices, and since I won't be keeping them outside or in the back of my truck, I'm not too worried about going for the best one. Also, more room for stickers! (I feel like I'm 4 again with all the awesome fabric stickers that keep showing up and I stick on everything. Not complaining.)
