WIP Wednesday - Coffee Makes the World Go 'Round

Coffee is my drug of choice, but with lots of cream and sugar.  It helps me fight off the zombie effect from staying up too late trying to do 'stuff' and it keeps me moving in the afternoon.  That being said, last night's sewing saw a lot of my seam ripper...so it might have been better to sleep instead.  I did get it all fixed at least!

Usually I just use this seam ripper for the 'eraser' on the cap to pick up threads, but Jack ran away and is hiding.
I've also been working on some crochet since the weather is starting to get cooler (only in the upper 70's, that's almost sweater weather!) and I got the urge to play with yarn again!  This is a fancy yarn I got on sale, it's mostly silk, with lots of other fibers, but it's not as soft as I hoped.  Colors are amazing at least!
Free pattern from Autumn Berry Crochet, works up super fast!
I finally got a chance to test out my tailor's ham last night! (translation:  I couldn't find it every time I looked, until last night and it was right where I put it - in my sewing cart)  If you've never heard of or used one, it's pretty awesome for purses!  I was able to hold it in my hand, drape the purse around it, and iron on the curved seam without even using the ironing board.  Of course I'd need a 3rd hand to take a picture while I was doing that, and all my 3rd hands were fast asleep...so here it is sitting on the ironing board.
Ham in a bag
The ham was pretty cheap on amazon, and I'm sure you could also make one, but for under $10, I decided to buy a 'real' one and not waste time making it and trying to get it stuffed right.  One side is cotton fabric, and the other side is wool for delicate fabrics.  Or something like that.  I think it's just to look pretty.
Wool side with a pretty plaid
Cotton side, white so it won't bleed or anything
A few other things I was multi-tasking on last night...the Mulan inspired comb has been a good seller on the etsy store, time to whip up more!  And my youngest LOVES Eevee from Pokemon, so she's been pestering me for this pencil topper ever since I let her browse my Pinterest boards last weekend and she saw it.
The color is slightly darker than it should be, but she didn't care!  Need to order some lighter tan glitter vinyl...
Next up, the flowers...which take forever because they are appliqued!

I think I need to spend the rest of this week finishing up my 'almost done' projects, the ones that need hand sewing, straps attached, ironed, or just the finishing touches.  I do need to sew some Lotus pouches as well, but those are a really fast sew!

WIP: (Stuff sitting out on my work area and taking up space)

Sewing:

DONE!  - except for hand sewing and zipper charms...Freesia Foldover Bag by Blue Calla jumped the line.  I've had a lot of line jumpers lately...

Cross body strap on the Boronia Bowler...it's not that much work, but I keep procrastinating.

Sandra Saddle Bag - Mermaid style - Nearly finished, just needs some hand sewing!

Lotus pouches for a swap - These need to get done asap!  Need to make doubles so I can send them off to be photographed and still send some to my swap partner...

Wisteria Wallets - Need to work on the 2 more that are ready to go!

March BOM - Pirate BunnyBeard just needs his strap! - I picked up some new rivet tools to set the crystal rivets better, and domed ones, so maybe he'll get that for his strap!

Random stash challenge - one kiss clutch 98% done! - Still needs the metal accent forced onto the flap.  Abby's Alley is next, but I need to remember where I 'put away' the fabric while I was cleaning...

Embroidered pillow covers - need to cut a back piece after I figure out if I'm doing a zipper or envelope closure...I'm thinking of using my invisible zippers and doing another one from the same set of patterns...so far the fish is in the lead for what will be stitched next.  Still procrastinating because I don't want to have to lint roll the entire sewing area after I cut my next piece.  Not even exaggerating.

Sedimental Quilt- working on binding while I watch TV - almost half done!

May Bag of the Month- Swoon Brooklyn - I think I'm going with a Doctor Who random toss fabric that glows in the dark and blue glitter vinyl.

Brandt's Boulevard in sugar skulls, another one in "Girly" fabric for a later date

Crayon rolls - keep sewing my cut ones, I have so much awesome fabric for these! - new quilting foot is going to make this slightly faster, so hopefully I can start cranking out a ton and be prepared for Christmas!

Crochet:

Giraffe photographer is coming along, one horn and two ears in!

Sea turtle lovey - Shell needs attached to body and then put together with the blanket!

Mermaid lovey - Sea blanket is done, head is done (no hair), started on tail. Giant head is kind of freaking me out, so I need to finish her!  - I really want to redo her head smaller, it's probably too big for the blanket...

Embroidery:

Pokemon snap tabs - all cut out thanks to car appointments that lasted several hours... still need snapped, and taken to a local game shop! Ready to sell!
Hooded towels are jumping into the queue because I found some adorable pokemon ones and towels on sale at Target...
Keep cutting out my backlog of bows and keychain.  I didn't cut out everything in my stash, so I need to keep working on them!
Stitch out more couch pillows (and finish them) - I'd like to get the pillow forms out of my craft area and onto the couches!
More patches! - going to test them as magnets and see if my glue is strong enough to hold

NIL (Next in Line-Things I plan on and want to do, but haven't gotten around to yet...)

Finish the Owl Epiphany purse
Lotus Purse
Crayon Rolls - These never end
Rosie Tsum Tsum purse
Tulip pouches (from this free pattern!!)
January Bag of the Month (Backgammon Bag) - Either in some Effervescence fabric or maybe the Zelda stained glass fabric
Quilted pillow covers - Sasquatch fabric is ready to go, just need some spare time!

UFO (Unfinished Objects that are already started but I have no set time to work on and don't want to forget about them forever!)

Cowls - just need buttons and ends woven in.  Giving up on the one a month plan until it gets closer to craft season. - Guess what, craft season is around the corner!
Bella II in Tula Pink Foxfield - outside is done, inside is cut and waiting for me to finish, already have someone that wants it!
Doctor Who Pick a Pocket - all the pieces are cut, just needs finished!
Goldfish Lovey - fish is made, bowl is mostly made, needs put together
Dragon Lovey - I have pieces and the blanket done
Serendipity Hip in MLP fabric with vinyl bottom
