WIP Monday - Crawling Along

Sometimes I have all the motivation and energy and get everything done, and sometimes I take my time and try to enjoy working on projects. Right now I have a little breathing room in my schedule, so I'm not rushing on orders. I try to always pay attention to details and make everything the best I can, but when I'm behind and rushing, I feel like I have to push things out right away, instead of letting them rest and then going back with fresh eyes to double check for things that I missed, like stray thread ends.  

Teal solid lining - I usually go for textures and designs, but the solid does look nice!

Having extra time in my schedule also means that I can start looking for fun projects and find embroidery patterns in my collection that I haven't stitched up yet, plus start working on my restock for upcoming craft shows! And by upcoming, I mean probably in August, so PLENTY of time! Although having a looming deadline does help me get focused...so maybe I need to try to get some more orders in so I feel more rushed! 

 

Current Projects and Orders: (in no particular order)  

• Sample Plague doctor NCW - I WILL finish it this year!

• hooded Mira towel - had to redo after some toner from my laser printer got stuck to the vinyl.

• Crochet Cowls (mini button scarves) -  0/5 - need finished with buttons and ends woven in 
• Holiday geeky Stockings (0/10) 
• Lanterns (0/20) - 
• Embroidered hand towels (0/25)
• Crayon Rolls - (0/50) - finish and list on etsy
• Posh books - (5/50) - pretty and character vinyl, plus some more snarky ones that can go on Etsy

• C2C (corner to corner) baby doll blanket crochet with some random scarfie yarn - Need to figure out what hook I was using...
• Mermaid tail towel, need to dig this back out, probably going to scrap this one because it needs a lot more yarn and I don't think I can get it anymore

• March -- crochet project, I might try to hot glue the pieces of the fox I started forever ago and frame them instead of trying to put them on a blanket.
