Dino Gunther - Knitorious Fabric and Sincerely Jen Patterns

Sometimes a fabric is too awesome to pass up, like these dinos on a gorgeous purple background from Knitorious fabrics! 

I forgot to factor in the zipper flap when I cut the front, so the dinos almost lost their heads!

A print this big and bold NEEDS a nice big bag to show it off, and the Gunther Hobo Bag from Sincerely Jen was perfect!

This bag has some slightly hidden front zipper pockets, so I dug into my stash to find some fun dino zipper pulls. I wish I knew where they came from, but it was probably from a small business that has now shut down. Everyone needs rainbow dinosaurs!

I think the T-rex is eating the longneck. Or they're kissing.

There's also a slip pocket for phones or keys at the top of the bag, very handy!

Sneaky little pocket

Night Mare zipper tape and gunmetal hardware from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts provided perfect accents. The top has a full length zipper, to hold everything inside or open wide. 

Triangle connectors are my other favorite type of connectors.

Sometimes a nice plain zipper is perfect!

The lining is a galactic print from Backstitch, which color matched perfectly! My camera didn't want to grab the true colors, or decided to wash it out, but I think you get the idea! The inside has a zipper pocket, so I went with a crescent moon zipper pull. If only I had a flaming comet zipper pull, that would have been so perfect!

Like looking into the depths of the universe. Or the bottom of the bag.

It's really hard to get interior bag pics. Just a comment, not complaining (much)

The bottom of the bag is vinyl, just to give it a little extra protection. I could add on purse feet too, but I didn't have any gunmetal colored ones to match.

I think my scraps of this fabric are claimed for another order, but this is one that comes back up on the Knitorious vault every so often! If you need your very own dino bag, just let me know!
