Dino Gunther - Knitorious Fabric and Sincerely Jen Patterns

Sometimes a fabric is too awesome to pass up, like these dinos on a gorgeous purple background from Knitorious fabrics

I forgot to factor in the zipper flap when I cut the front, so the dinos almost lost their heads!

Floral Wars Julep Tote Bag - RLR Creations Pattern Testing

One good thing about orders slowing down is that I've had extra time to do more pattern testing! The new Julep Tote bag from RLR Designs is definitely a fun bag and I'm very happy I was able to fit it into my schedule for testing!  The pattern makes a nice roomy bag, with lots of pockets!

R2 had to be front and center, he's the best!

Time and Space Wayfarer II Traveler Tote - Small - (RLR Creations Pattern Testing)

When I was picked to test the newest Wayfarer II Tote pattern from RLR Patterns, I went for the smaller size, thinking it would be a cute little bag. Wrong! It is a cute HUGE bag!
Is it me, or does this bag look grumpy?

Cryptids Tuesday Tote - Snow Willow Designs Fabric (Knotted Thread Patterns)

My second project for the amazing Cryptid Research Notes fabric that is currently up for preorder at Snow Willow Designs was the super fast Tuesday Tote from Knotted Threads Patterns. I had a few extra of the Sack Set panels left, and they were *almost* big enough for the top piece. My choices were to make the bag slightly smaller OR add in a fun accent of the Jackalope fabric to make it bigger!

Trying a new photo editor option that removes ALL background. Is it weird?

Magical Teddy Mommy and Me Backpack/Diaper Bag (RLR Creations

The first time I made the Teddy Mommy and Me Backpack from RLR Creations, the number of pieces made me realize I wasn't charging enough. Then I raised the price and someone was still willing to order one, which blew my mind! It IS an amazing bag, but the amount of work that goes into it is kind of daunting.

I broke out my fancy wand for these pics!

Rainbow and Cork Tote

Sometimes I get orders for non-fandom purses, and they still turn out fun! I can't remember what pattern I used for this one, or if I even did use one...For tote bags it is pretty easy to cut a bunch of rectangles and just go for it!

Simple, yet elegant tote bag

Wizardry Color The One With MMK - Longshore Custom Fabric/Sincerely Jen

I really enjoy the challenge of picking a perfect pattern to go with the strike fabric that arrives at my house. This gorgeous Wizardry Color fabric is running for preorder at Longshore Custom Fabric, and I needed to find something that took a fat half (or less) of fabric AND would really show it off!  This is the canvas version, so it has a little more thickness and is more sturdy than the usual woven I work with. The pattern I ended up going with is "The One With More Me Know" from Sincerely Jen, and it was originally an exclusive created to go with a fun box of curated fabric and supplies from More Me Know! I still haven't made it with the original supplies, but after seeing how fast and fun it is, I will be making it again!

Somewhat structured, stood up nicely!

8 Bit Lizard King Tuesday Tote - Snow Willow Designs (Knotted Thread Patterns)

One of the other projects I made for the latest round of fabric promotion for Snow Willow Designs was this super cute (and fast!) Tuesday Tote from Knotted Thread Design! The Mini Lizard King vinyl is such a fun pattern that I wanted to really show it off!

Technically the back, but it really shows off the fun vinyl

Girls Rule the Galaxy Siren Tote Bag (XOXO by Lauren)

I love all the awesome panels that come out with the custom fabrics, but sometimes they are just a little TOO big to really showcase on a purse. However, they are PERFECT for a giant tote bag like the Siren!

Totally.

Haunted Stitch Siren Tote (XOXO by Lauren)

The Siren Tote bag from XOXO by Lauren is so fast to whip up, and it uses up a lot of fabric! It's perfect to show off the bigger panels. I really need to make a ton more to thin out the stash!

Become Sane Siren Tote (XOXO by Lauren)

This panel from Ohana Fabrics describes my life perfectly! Am I booked up for the next few months? Totally. Am I still accepting orders? Yes. Will I need to skip sleeping to have a chance of getting caught up? Also yes.

I'm like Edna, except a little taller and not quite as stylish...

It's time again for another preorder at Moon Beam textiles, and this is an awesome one!  The Animeverse fabric is fun and stylish.

Dread Pirate Everyday Tote (Bagstock Designs)

The Princess Bride is probably my favorite movie of all time, and this quote is one of my favorites.  I really bought the panel to use for myself, but a customer convinced me that she needed it more, so now I'm on the lookout for a reprint or destash!
Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Oh, Crit! Fresno Foldover Bag - Moon Beam Textiles

My second strike project for the current preorder at Moon Beam Textiles was the fun and funky Fresno Foldover Bag from Pink Pony Designs.  I love the 'Oh, Crit! panel, but my red dice fabric didn't exactly match on its own, so I decided to do the origami dragons as the coordinate, and use the dice for the accents and lining.
I only grabbed the largest die for these pics, didn't want to risk losing the little ones!

Wonderland Carry It All Tote Handbag Testing (DCE)

One of the benefits of being (almost) caught up is that I can jump at the chance to test a new pattern!  This is from a new (to me) designer (Daywalker Customs Embroidery), the Carry It All Tote Handbag and it turned out pretty sweet!

Mad Tea Party time!
