It's time for another fast and fun pattern from The Styled Magnolia! The Traverse Pouch is a long and skinny travel organizer style bag, perfect for holding flat irons, all your hair and makeup, and whatever else you need to carry!
| It's almost the length of a couch arm! |
| Not even half full, there is a TON of room in there! |
The pattern is pretty simple, so it will really show off some great fabric! I dug into my larger scraps and found a great grunge style piece left over from when I did fabric strikes for Moonbeam Textiles (now closed, so sad!).
| One end has a pull tab to help closing it |
| I swear the zipper is straight, it's just a soft bag so it squishes easily |
The zipper is one from my collection (sounds better than stash, right?), a pretty dangling gem.
| This gem is so pretty in person! |
| Handle on the end where the zipper is closed, nice for carrying! |
This isn't a complicated bag, it only has a divided slip pocket inside. I used some quilting cotton grunge print for the lining, which was also from my collection.
| I kind of love grunge fabric, gives the project character! |
| My little tag! |
If you are looking for a quick project before a trip, the Traverse Pouch fits the bill!
| How many pics of a rectangle can I include? |
