WIP Wednesday - The End is Near!

The end of the Serendipity Hip Sew Along is zooming up on us!  Next Monday you should be finished and have pictures in the album by Tuesday evening if you want to be entered in the drawing!

Anyone up for some last minute sewing?  I'm going to start one Friday afternoon and see how far I can get!  It's like a race, where everyone that enters will win an awesome little purse!  I found the first Serendipity Hip I made, and I did kind of goof up the zippers on the top.  Hopefully this time I can get them a little nicer!  I wonder how many times Jack the Seam Ripper will make an appearance...

We are on the final steps of the sew along - you are going to put it all together and finish it up! Take your time with the curved zipper on the top, and if you are having trouble, I suggest the wash away double sided tape.  It's AMAZING.

Other end.  They aren't perfect, but they work fine!

Instead of doing my sew along purse, I've been busy with a ton of other stuff that I meant to finish much earlier...

This looks more like a moth than a butterfly to me...but the colors are very bright and cheerful!

The swap tote bag is finally coming together.  I'm not sure why I was having so much trouble with it earlier, but I just have the lining to assemble, putting everything together, then handles!  This is a little brighter than anything I'd usually carry, but I hope the recipient loves it!

Orders from Etsy have started picking up again, so the embroidery machine is getting busy!

I haven't seen this vinyl at my Joann's lately so I'm starting to get a little panicked!

Flannel Eater blanket - Finished!  Pending inspection for stitching that came loose during the wash...

Embroidered pillow covers - need to cut a back piece after I figure out if I'm doing a zipper or envelope closure...

Crochet:

Started a new lovey - sea turtle!  (because I'm avoiding the mermaid)

Mermaid lovey - Sea blanket is done, head is done (no hair), started on tail. Giant head is kind of freaking me out, so I need to finish her!

Tag teaming a yellow Lab...trying to crochet late at night with no stitch markers is not a good plan for me.  Instead I conned my oldest into making it.  She's actually pretty amazing at crochet!  we are almost finished, one leg, 2 ears, a tail and assembly!

Embroidery:  

Super Hero birthday party this weekend, need to throw some gauntlets and finger puppets or  on the machine asap!  Maybe a shirt for myself? - Birthday party was delayed due to illness, gauntlets are done, finger puppets were changed to crowns, which still need made...

Start cutting out my backlog of bows and keychains so I'm maybe ahead of the game for the next Etsy orders and craft shows...

UFO (Unfinished Objects that are already started but I have no set time to work on and don't want to forget about them forever!)

Sedimental Quilt- all quilted, just needs squared up and binding - as soon as I finish a Serendipity Hip, this is getting the binding attached so I can hand sew and zone out in front of the tv!
Cowls - just need buttons and ends woven in.  Giving up on the one a month plan until it gets closer to craft season.
Bella II in Tula Pink Foxfield - outside is done, inside is cut and waiting for me to finish, already have someone that wants it!
Doctor Who Pick a Pocket - all the pieces are cut, just needs finished!
Goldfish Lovey - fish is made, bowl is mostly made, needs put together
Dragon Lovey - I have pieces and the blanket done

I love my new mermaid mug, I think this means if I make it to the bottom I'm ready to be a pirate!
