I survived! now to catch back up on EVERYTHING. I still have 2 weeks to finish up my February list, good thing most of the purses on it are quick ones! And I only have one order so far for March, might be a a little bit of a slower month where I can sew some fun stuff for me AND the kids!

I really planned to finish everything ahead of time for the Valentine's stuff this year, but thanks to the illness I had them stitched and not cut out. At least they were done before 10pm last night! (We won't talk about the midnight class party prep nights that I used to pull...)
My medicine is seeming to work pretty good so I can finally trust myself to cut and sew without totally screwing everything up. I still am getting in lots of quality time with the seam ripper, but that might be a sign I need to get my machine in to the shop asap instead of just being my own fault... besides, handmade doesn't mean PERFECT! I'm not a machine myself, so I have to realize that and accept that sometimes topstitching gets a little wiggle to it no matter how I sew...even if it does drive me crazy!

I keep hoping for a small break, so I can finally sew up some of the fun new fabrics that keep magically appearing at my front door! However, paying for those fabrics means I need to keep up the orders...maybe I'll just hoard it all until I retire! I'm sure the hubby will love that plan :D

- Scrap buster C2C using random odds and ends...I'm almost done with my second scrap yarn skein!
- Started a dragon scarf with one of my Black Friday sale buys...
- Cotton coffee cup cozies - add buttons and felties, keep making more...
- WeeBee baby doll - Just needs
some face details, and maybe a swimsuit to wear when she's not in her
tail...bikini sort of works...made up my own pattern and it's
interesting...
- Chunky Unicorn Blanket - almost finished up to the hood, then just ears, horn, and fringe!
- C2C (corner to corner) baby doll blanket crochet with some random scarfie
yarn - Need to figure out what hook I was using...
- Mermaid tail towel, 2 skeins of yarn into this, I must be doing
something wrong because it's not THAT big yet and I only have 2 or 3
more skeins to go.
