WIP Wednesday - Where Did September Come From?

Somehow the last few weeks FLEW by, and I didn't even have a spare moment to update the blog! I'm going to blame school starting, which added an extra level of stress to the day (no school busses, so we are the drivers) and allergies hitting everyone in the house. Or it could have been start of school colds, hard to say. No matter what, I'm pretty sure August lasted about 5 minutes, and September will be just as fast!

It's actually a deep green blanket and matching stitching under the embroidery, but my camera does what it wants.

I've started working on more blankets for the fall shows, they were good sellers for me last year, and are pretty fun to make! I can store them in space saver bags, once they are finished, and they fluff back up nicely, so getting them out of the 'to do' pile and into the 'totally finished' pile really will free up some room in the sewing studio! I have a few listed on Etsy right now, but I'm mainly sharing them in the FB group for early claiming and will have the leftovers available after the end of November!

Current Projects and Orders: (in no particular order)  

• Sample Plague doctor NCW - This one has been halfway started on my pile for a while, I wanted to make a sample for a new version to offer on Etsy!
• Blue maps NCW

• Test bag - In progress, need to finish it up this week!
• Fabric Strike backpack  - there wasn't enough extra fabric for a book sleeve, so gave up that idea!

• Clear vinyl test tote - Due today, and I only got the material last night, so going to be a rush to get this one done!

• Embroidered hand towels (4/25) - I bought a bunch of fluffy style towels, and these could go on Etsy
• Crayon Rolls - (0/50) -  went a bit overboard cutting into my character fabrics, so now I have a stack waiting to be sewn, Plus list up some on etsy!
• Posh books - 0/20 - pretty and character vinyl, plus some more snarky ones that can go on Etsy
• Key fobs (restock and stitch new styles)

• Finger puppets -  Olaf, Darth Vader, Kylo, R2, BB-8, Mandalorian, another princess set or Encanto.

• March -- crochet project, I might try to hot glue the pieces of the fox I started forever ago and frame them instead of trying to put them on a blanket.
