Wall-E Cross Body Bag and Zip It Janice Pouch (Sincerely, Jen)

Sometimes a simple bag is all that is needed to show off amazing fabric!  This panel from Backstitch Fabrics is so adorable, and was love at first sight for the customer!

Seriously cute stuff!

She only wanted a simple cross body bag, nothing fancy, so I ended up creating a rectangle bag that would fit the panel.  Loosely based on several different patterns, it has no amazing features, but it does have a zipper pocket and slip pocket inside

Aren't they adorable?
The gold specks are actually metallic ink so it has a little sparkle to it!

There is a coordinate that matches this panel, but it has ALL the Pixar characters, which would have distracted from Wall-E.  Instead the customer chose to go for a space theme, with a shimmery metallic printed fabric.  Both are space fabrics are from Joann's, one is a blue toned and the lining is aqua toned.

Of course the zipper had to be epic as well, and the Unicorn Mane rainbow zipper tape from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts was perfect! Add on the mouse head pull, and some fun rainbow hardware pieces like the zipper end and the strap connectors, and it all comes together to make one happy bag!

I tried to focus on the mouse...but it was too shiny!
I prefer using the metal zipper end caps, feels fancier!

The rest of this order was the Zip It Janice ID pouch from Sincerely, Jen using some teeny tiny baby (not) Yoda prints!  It was so small that it was even perfect for a matching lanyard! The fabric came from Snowy Owl, a micro print!

I love small project that don't use up a lot of my stash!
