One of the most awesome bag styles is the Carrier's Conquest from ChrisW Designs. It has so many pockets, compartments, and fun features!
I even pulled out the fancy backdrop! |
This one features awesome custom fabric from Backstitch Fabrics, along with cork accents. I love sewing with cork (versus vinyl) because it sews like buttah, and it's so pretty! The downside is that it's even MORE expensive than custom fabric (Look for quality when buying cork, don't skimp to save $$!)

Good cork won't crack if you fold it |
These snacks are so fun and colorful! |
I don't usually go for gold hardware, but the gold whip zipper pulls from
Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts were obviously NEEDED for this bag, so I had to make everything match. I even found the drawstring side pulls in gold at
Emmaline Bags!
So shiny! |
I didn't even know they made toggles in gold... |
Plus gold rivets! |
The Toasted Waffle fabric made a great accent, just the right shades to bring the cork and colorful fabric together!
Looking down, so much waffley goodness! |
Doing the straps as half cork, half fabric keeps them from being too bulky |
The Carrier's Conquest is a big purse. It has 2 zippered sections with more pockets inside them. I used a grunge teal for the insides of pockets and deep in the bag, with fun pops of the stacked snacks!

One side |
The other side |
There is also a quick access phone pocket right at the top!
Handy also for keys and other things that you need quickly! |
The center section has a magnetic closure flap with even more pockets inside!
You can never have too many pockets! |
This purse is a lot of pieces and takes a while, but it's totally worth it!
One last pretty shot! |
