Discord Road Trip Wallet (Emmaline Bags)

The Road Trip Wallet from Emmaline Bags is actually what I've been using for a few years now, it has SO MUCH room and such a fun style.

Wallet and matching bookmark, why not?

Firefly Ellen's Esplanade (ChrisW Designs) and NCW (Emmaline)

The Ellen's Esplanade from ChrisW Designs is a roomy bag with some fun features! Pair it with a Necessary clutch wallet from Emmaline Bags and you have a great set!

Getting the best images on each side was my focus, instead of pattern matching. Limited fabric makes it harder to match!

Galifrey Annette (Swoon) and NCW Set (Moon Beam Textiles)

The Annette from Swoon (aff link) is so perfect for showing off my pretty fabrics, and is super stylish!  This fabric is probably one of my most favorite Doctor Who ones, beautiful colors and a fun design.

I am starting to love matching sets, they look so nice!

Stacked snacks Carrier's Conquest (ChrisW Designs)

One of the most awesome bag styles is the Carrier's Conquest from ChrisW Designs. It has so many pockets, compartments, and fun features!

I even pulled out the fancy backdrop!

Love potion Annette (Swoon) and NCW (Emmaline)

I've been getting a lot more orders for 'sets' lately, and this combination is one of the most popular!

Some of my favorite colors!

Supernatural Magnolia Mini Messenger (Blue Calla) And More!

Lately I've been focusing on the fun and unique custom fabrics for my purses, but this one gave me a chance to go back to one of the original reasons I wanted an embroidery machine - to add on unique designs and make a purse really special!
This was done in the darkness of winter, so the 'best' pics were in the lightbox...but I was also rushing so they aren't great.

Foolish Mortals Necessary Clutch Wallet (Emmaline Bags)

I don't share every single Necessary Clutch Wallet I make, mainly because a lot of them are Etsy orders and (nearly) identical.  This one definitely deserved sharing tho!  The foolish mortal fabric is so vibrant and fun, and it has been a while since I shared one of these wallets. ;)
I love the swing locks for a unique look!

Supernatural Road Trip Wallet (Emmaline Bags)

The Road Trip Wallet by Emmaline Bags is an amazing and very detailed project! It has more pieces to cut than probably half of the purses I make, but it only uses small amounts of fabric!
Awesome snap from my stash!

Mix It Up Necessary Clutch Wallet (Emmaline Bags)

The best part about doing custom orders is that I can make almost anything anyone can imagine! Want to show off multiple fandoms on one piece? I can do it!  Need a cross body strap? No problem!
The colors on this one are so pretty!

Toothless Road Trip Wallet

We have a strong love for dragons in this house, and I have a surprisingly small stash for that love!  Since the hoard of dragon fabric is so small, I'm always reluctant to cut into it, but I made an exception this time!
Doesn't everyone need an adorable dragon to guard their money?

Villains Snowdrop (Blue Calla)

There are some fabrics I see in my groups that I think 'ooh, that looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure it will be popular,' and then I either don't order, or only get a small amount.  When it comes, I'm usually blown away and instantly regret not getting more!  These villains are some of that fabric.  It looked vibrant on my computer, but almost too vibrant to be real...but it's even MORE amazing in person!
Villains are more interesting!

Nightmare Necessary Clutch Wallet (Emmaline)

I love the style and many pockets of the Necessary Clutch Wallet, and after making a bunch of them, it's almost becoming easy!  I still manage to mess up the pocket folding half the time...but other than that, they come together quickly.

Marauder's Map Necessary Clutch Wallet

When I was introduced to the amazing world of custom fabric, this Marauder's Map fabric was one of my first 'big' buys.  The cost is higher than what you would spend at Joann's or Hobby Lobby (or even a local quilt shop) but it is so amazing that it was totally worth it!  I think I'm down to less than 4 yards (ONLY!) but that's plenty for a lot more projects!
Custom fabric on top of another custom fabric? It's the only way I'll ever be able to use it all up!

Wizard of Oz Window Shopper Tote

It's always fun getting a request for a new custom purse, and this time it was a bit of a challenge finding just the right fabric!  The Wizard of Oz fabrics are now out of print, so finding them takes some work!  We were lucky enough to discover some for reasonable prices on ebay and from one of my favorite shops (The Fabric Cobbler), so as long as I didn't screw it up, we'd be fine!  The Window Shopper Tote is a HUGE bag, so there was no room for error!  The pattern came from the Bag of the Month club, and this is the second one I've made!  (Check out the Cinderella one!  Available on Etsy!)
The panels are big, but they worked perfect with the giant size!

All the main characters!

Daryl's Drive - Pattern Testing

The latest release from ChrisW Designs is the Daryl's Drive - the new addition to the Easy Street line of patterns.  This one is still not as complicated as her other patterns, but it will take some focus at least the first time you make it!  The finished purse is good sized, and I really like how the top is closed!
With embroidery from Urban Threads!

Sporty Strap Pack - On The Go Bags

For Christmas my awesome husband got me the On The Go Bags book (and I only had to send him the link twice!) but I haven't had a chance to do more than thumb through it and dream of having spare time to make most of the patterns, which includes some organizers and other neat things...One of the ones I knew I'd eventually make was the cover bag, a one strap style backpack/purse.  Then the authors decided to run a sew along and I was hoping I'd be able to squeeze in one during the event, just because deadlines mean I'll get things actually finished!

WIP Wednesday - Almost Human Again!

The good news is that I'm finally on the mend...and I may have caught up on my sleep for the first half of the year.  The bad news is that all that sleep and the hacking cough cut into my productive time, so I haven't finished anything for a while!  And what I am working on is super secret, so all I can show you is this awesome Half Moon magnetic snap from Emmaline Bags...It looks so cool!
Into the Deep Fabric is one of my new favorites that I seem to be acquiring several pieces mysteriously...

Totes Ma Tote by Emmaline Bags

I recently participated in a tote bag swap.  Actually the swap was crochet, but I knew right away I wouldn't finish a crochet bag in 3 weeks (I'm not a speed hooker!) and I cleared it with the people involved so I could just do a sewn bag instead.  As it was, I pushed it past the deadline because I always underestimate how long things will take.  And always overestimate how much free time I'll actually have where I'm motivated to do stuff.  (Library books need to be read!  You can only renew them like 6 times before they start charging you...and sometimes I do need sleep!)
Eden Moth (butterfly?) ended up perfectly centered on one side without me really trying...but not on the other side.
