Supernatural Road Trip Wallet (Emmaline Bags)

The Road Trip Wallet by Emmaline Bags is an amazing and very detailed project! It has more pieces to cut than probably half of the purses I make, but it only uses small amounts of fabric!
Awesome snap from my stash!
This really lets me cut lots of fun details to feature in various places, like the snap tab and the inside zipper pouch.
Had fun fussy cutting the snap tab part, salt on one side, license plate on the other!
The hardest part of this wallet was figuring out where to cut the exterior piece to get the best placement of the favorite characters! Supernatural has lots of awesome characters and actors in it, so it's hard to pick just one favorite! The exterior fabric came from a preorder last year at Sky Love Creations. She does super adorable fabric!
Even has Charlie on there!
Bobby ended up on both sides of the wallet!
The good news is that if you follow your seam allowances and cut carefully, this wallet goes together very smoothly.  The final turning is a bit tricky, but with a bit of patience (and cursing/grumbling), it does finally end up right side out!

This was another chance to use my awesome zipper pulls from Wizardry, Stitchery, and Crafts.  They really add a nice extra bit of bling! I also can't wait to see what styles she adds next!
Sammy gets hidden when your id is in place, sadness.
The inside of this wallet has a LOT of card slots. Since it wouldn't feature the exterior very nicely, I used a black dot grunge quilting fabric that was perfect to capture the feel of the tv show.
But Castiel will always be visible!

The Road Trip Wallet definitely is a unique style, but super organized and useful! It's quickly becoming one of my most ordered styles!

  1. Cute wallet. I may try to make one myself. I do love your personalized elements like the salt tab and the zipper pulls. Simply adorable!

    1. Thanks! It's a lot of pieces, but they come together nicely! Just take your time and watch your seam allowances, that's really important on wallets and small items!
