Footprints In The Sands of Tattooine - Moon Beam Textiles

The newest rounds are open at Moon Beam Textiles! (affiliate link)  Lately they've needed all the ambassadors to pitch in with the new fabric rounds, which I'm not complaining, but squeezing in projects for awesome fabrics is limiting what I have time to make!  For this one, I got 2 pieces of the Moon Beam Textiles After Dark 'glitter' fabrics.  They are like skin tones, but to me they looked like sand and dirt!

What does sand and dirt need? Obviously some hobbit love and maybe some sand people love... Nothing really spoke to me with these fabrics, until I found this awesome quote and decided it would look great on the 'sand' colored one!  Don't look too closely since I had a few issues with the embroidery machine and picking colors...but I think this one is going to join the knitting Boba Fett in the Star Wars bathroom (doesn't everyone have a bathroom dedicated to a fandom?)

Also, doesn't everyone have a helmet to use as a photo prop? You should!  The embroidery pattern is from String Theory Fab Art, one of my new suppliers of awesome geekery!

If you are a fan of risque fabrics, go ahead and take a look at the After Dark side of Moon Beam Textiles, some of the fabric is pretty entertaining...and not for the easily offended. ;)  Check back later for my next Moon Beam project, a fun Hobbit Pouch!
