Here's the tentative itinerary for the sew along, and the good news is that if you can't sew along on that day, the videos will be up in the group! Or if you want to work ahead without the videos, feel free! We'll be doing the Factotum from ChrisW designs, an amazing pattern that will impress everyone that sees it! It looks complex, but we'll be there to hold your hand through the Sew Along!
July 2 - Get all your supplies and fabrics, read through the pattern, print the labels and pieces
July 3 - Start cutting everything!
July 9 - finish cutting and fusing all the pieces
July 9 - Make the straps
July 10-12 - Front Pocket and Flap
July 13-16 - Complete the Exterior
July 17 - Facing and Top Zipper Closure
July 18 - Laptop Sleeve
July 19-22 - Interior Pockets - All of them!
July 22- 27 - Assemble the interior and put the bag together
July 28 - Finish those straps and zippers
July 31 - Final day of the Sew Along! You should be done!
Use this sew along as a guide, motivation, or strict deadlines, whichever you want/need! This is about having fun, not stressing out, so don't worry if you are are a day (or 4) behind. Amanda and I will be working as much as possible to help out in the sew along group, but if we aren't around, feel free to help each other out as well!
